If you’re looking for the best PC games to play today then this Top 7 best PC games 2019 for you.
Dark Souls 3
While it’s arguably not as hard as earlier titles in the series, From Software’s Dark Souls 3 takes everything you like about the Souls series and improves on it by blending it with elements found in Bloodborne, the developer’s more recent title for PS4.We won’t sugar coat it: you’re going to die in Dark Souls 3, perhaps more than once. It takes patience to master its complex combat system, but it also plays fair, which makes it more approachable for casual players so they too can take part in its bleak, fantastical world. And, on the bright side, it’s much more optimized for PC than the first two games. Now that you can pick up Dark Souls: Remastered, and see where the apocalyptic series began, there’s never been a better time to link the first flame.
Red Dead Redemption 2
The newest release from Rockstar Games was an instant hit upon release. Red Dead Redemption 2 is an engrossing western following Arthur Morgan and his gang as they try to survive a fictionalized Wild West as outlaws on the run. However, the game is much more than just that.Whether it’s getting lost in the story, following through on every side quest to its conclusion, or just bonding with your horse, RDR2 is one of those games where you can easily sink 50+ hours into and still have something to do. The gameplay is stellar, and the graphics are gorgeous. You can even run the game in 8K, if you have the hardware. Definitely give this a look if you haven’t already.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
This is still one of the best PC games 2019 you can play right now, and Ori’s movement abilities are more fluid and flexible than any other 2D game we’ve played. Double jumps, dashes, glides, water dives, bouncing off projectiles: every movement is animated flawlessly, and it makes simply moving through each of the game’s beautiful environments a true joy. Levels are livilier and more dangerous than the first Ori, the combat is better, and the story tugs harder on the heart strings. A must play.
If you’ve never played the original Half-Life but fancy seeing what all the fuss was about: play Black Mesa instead. It’s a fan-made, Valve-approved remake that’s bigger and better in almost every way. The visuals are spruced up, the combat and physics brought up to modern standards, largely by replicating Half-Life 2, and new puzzles are added. There are enough tweaks in each expanded level to give fans of the old game a reason to return. The biggest improvement is Xen, the alien world that frames the game’s climax. In Half-Life, it was the worst portion – here, it’s one of the best. It’s the strange, colourful, dramatic conclusion that the original deserved, but never got.
Supergiant Games, the studio behind Transistor and Bastion, has always done things a little differently, and Hades is no exception. After all, it’s not every day that you play as the prince of the underworld as he tries to escape to Mt. Olympus with help from the gods.
Based largely on feedback its developers received from their other projects, Hades is a brilliant isometric action title that combines the best of role-playing and dungeon crawling. This addictive roguelike will have you carefully considering how you upgrade your character as you work towards the seemingly impossible. It highlights why Supergiant Games is one of the best in the industry when it comes to simple, refined, and ultimately clever PC gaming experiences.
What are the best PC games? Sunless Skies is the best option for you. It’s a bit too easy to describe Sunless Skies as a Gothic horror sci-fi version of The Oregon Trail on a massive scale, but that description does a fairly good job of capturing just what makes this game so compelling. Sunless Skies takes what made Sunless Sea such a fascinating take on the role-playing/strategy genre and amplifies nearly all of it.
This is a game of discovery in which you must make some difficult choices and rely on the aid of some potentially unsavory characters in order to have a chance of surviving the horrors that lurk in the skies. Whether you see the best of what the game has to offer depends on how much you’re willing to sacrifice.
World of Tanks
This is one of the best games for PC 2019 download. It has spawned spin-off games focusing on ferocious naval and air battles, but nothing can top the intense warfare offered in the original World of Tanks. Featuring armored destroyers from America, England, Germany, China, France, and the Soviet Union (among other nations), World of Tanks’ multiplayer matches are absolutely massive, with teams constantly vying to gain tactical positions over one another as they fire long-range shots, flank enemies, and protect their allies. Tanks have roughly a dozen different armored plates, too, each with their own level of protection against incoming fire.
